I updated Octane Standalone to 2.23.2 and updated Octane for C4D to 2.16.2, the latest versions. When I open a previously built scene, I get the following error:

«Several plugins used in this project are missing. Saving may cause loss of plugin data!
Plugin ‘Octane Renderer’ (ID 1029525)
Plugin ‘Octane ObjectTag (ID 1029603)
Plugin ‘Octane LightTag’ etc
Plugin ‘Environment Tag’ etc
Plugin «RgbSpectrum’ etc

What would cause this?

this means installed plugin which is not working. update your c4d to 16.050. also I’ll be happy if you don’t open new topics foe this kind of issues. release threads is better.

Some python plugins need to be recompiled for R15, but ArtSmart isn’t protected so it should be fine. It sounds like you might have a deeper issue. Have you tried re-installing C4D? If that doesn’t work I’d contact tech support.

My artsmart objects aren’t showing up in Cineware unless I make them editable. Is this normal? I’m using R15 and the latest CC version of After effects.

Yes, that’s expected, because the initial release of Cineware doesn’t support C4D plugins.

The upcoming 12.1 release of AE will include the option to link your CINEMA 4D R15 installation as the render engine for Cineware, which will also allow plugin support.

Does this plugin works in 32bit.

i i can´t install this plugins in my cinema 4D r14 in windows 8 32bit, can you help me with a more detailed explanation of how to install.

i just installed it and when i clicked on the import setting all i get is a little vertical pill shape window that i can do anything with but press enter on my keyboard to import a file. In other words i can’t change any settings.

I’m on a Mac with 10.8.5 using C4D 14.042

So i looked in the CD Console after i click on the setting and found this.

I import architectural drawings into C4D via Corel Designer which is a more tedious workflow than it really should be until I stumbled upon CV Artsmart which works very well apart from scaling.

As a test I exported a 10 x 6 inch rectangle from Corel in Ai format, once imported through Artsmart within C4D R15 the rectangle becomes 28.346 x 17.008 inches.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I will rephrase the question.. When importing through Cinema 4D from Adobe Illustrator, does CVArtsmart regain/translate the unit/measurement information?

if i open a ai-file in whit CV-artsmart, it appears really tiny. I cant change the size, i tried. What is the problem?

ArtSmart imports Illustrator files at a scale of 1 Illustrator point = 1 C4D Document Unit. 72 points = 1 inch, so a 1 inch square in Illustrator will come into C4D as 72cm if your Project Scale is the default cm. If you set the Project Scale and Unit Display in Preferences to inches, the same 1 inch square will import as 72 inches. You could set the project scale to 1/72 inches, but that might throw off other objects. Alternatively, you can scale the ArtSmart object by entering 1/72 in the S.X and S.Y attributes on the Coord tab.

If you wish to scale interactively, make sure to switch from Model mode to Object mode. The scale tool won’t work in model mode.

Team Render Cinema 4D (Mac and PC nodes) Error: «Several Plugins used are missing»

I’ve got a Mac and PC and I’m trying to add the PC machine to my Team Renders, but the render fails every time.

Both machines are running the same version of Cinema 4D and Arnold (the latest versions). Both machines are green in the team render settings and I can transfer files between the computers with no problem. Also, the Standard and Physical renderers work fine in Team Render mode. Arnold isn’t happy with something though.

In Team Render Client, under File>Plugins there is no option for C4DtoA (on the PC machine running Team Render Client).

The installer currently removes the previously installed version, but does not check the application. So if you have both, Studio and Team Render Client on the same machine it installs only to one of those. I’m going to fix this.

Meanwhile you can install to Studio with the installer and just copy the plugins/C4DtoA folder to the Team Render Client.

I have to check what about Mac, but it may be the same.

The error indicates that C4DtoA is not installed on the Team Render client machine. You can verify that in the File > Plugins menu. If you don’t see C4DtoA there then the plugin is not installed or not loaded.

It looks like C4DtoA was installed on C4D, but it didn’t install on the Team Render Client. I changed the folder for C4DtoA during install to «Team Render Client» and it works now. but now C4D does not have C4DtoA installed.

Copying the Folder over works!

I’m having net render issues stemming from a phantom plugin in my scene.

I didn’t personally add any plugins, but there may have been one in a model/scene i merged into the project. Regardless, I don’t have any plugins on my system, so I get the following error when I open the project.

Several plugins used in this scene are missing.
Saving may cause loss of plugin data!
Plugin ‘Group’ (ID 1016210)

It doesn’t seem to effect my scene as long as I’m rendering on my machine alone. However, it gets in the way in Net Render (net render won’t even begin rendering the scene on any machine).

I don’t know of anyway to locate which objects in my scene may be making reference to said plugin. I’m assuming deleting that reference will get me good to go, much like deleting or replacing a missing texture.

Anyone have any tips? I’m desperately trying to get this scene rendering as it’s a bit of a beast and want to waste as little time as possible to get it going.

I would start by looking in the render settings as some plugins will create a post effect. That can be cleared by removing the effect.

If that doesn’t do it I would scroll through the Object Manager and look for any tags or objects that you don’t recognize, which may be plugin tags.

Lastly, I’d go through the materials and make sure that there aren’t any plugin shaders present.

You might also check the console window to see if there’s a message indicating the plugin that’s trying to load.

Ответ: Обновить программу до последней версии.

Ответ: Перейдите на 64-х битную систему.

3 Ошибка не найденных текстур или черные текстуры
Ответ: Перезагрузите все текстуры и сохраните проект в библиотеке или в отдельной папке

4 Черный экран во вьюпорте
Ответ: В настройках программы включите OpenGL

5 Черная голова
Ответ: В настройках окклюзии поставьте галочку на просчет прозрачности

6 Размыленные текстуры
Ответ: В настройках текстур уберите интерполяцию.

7 Ну и создание библиотеки
1.В синеме заходим во вкладку «Браузер библиотек» он чуть ниже объектов.
2.Нажимаем на кнопку «Новый браузер» иконка в виде папке с плюсом.
3.Заходим в «Предустановки».
4.Нажимаем «Файл» далее «Новая библиотека»
5.Перетаскиваем модель в библиотеку.
6.Создаём в библиотеке папку «tex» (без ковычек)
7.Перетаскиваем текстуру в папку tex.
8.Библиотека находится в app date (Папка Maxon »> Cinema 4D r13/14 »» library »» browser
