На старейшем пивоваренном заводе крафтовая компания AF Brew открыла собственное производство и будет разливать более двадцати сортов пива в баре в формате тапрума.
Крафтовые пивовары из AF Brew давно популяризуют в Петербурге новаторские форматы, существующие в пивной культуре. Они были одними из первых, кто вывел крафтовое пиво из субкультуры биргиков — на «Собака.ru» выходила об этом колонка. Также они построили собственный крафтовый бар Redrum – в абсолютно светской стилистике, то есть не похожий на привычную обстановку пабов. 17 февраля 2018 года у них откроется новый проект — AF Brew Taproom.
Тапрум вольно можно перевести как пивная, от слов tap – кран и room – комната. Это формат реализации пива от производителя потребителю, являющаяся частью завода, то есть, другими словами, это место, где разливают и продают пиво прямо на производстве. Формат зародился в США: во многих штатах закон запрещал пивоварням продавать свое пиво на территории завода, не имея дорогостоящей лицензии брюпаба, то есть пивоварни ресторанного типа, и заводские тапрумы помогали реализовывать продукцию без него.

Старый кирпичный фасад завода «Степан Разин» выходит пятью панорамными окнами на Курляндскую улицу: там и расположен тапрум. Через стекло за баром, на котором выписывается меню, виден склад готовой продукции. Пиво мы продаем по заводским ценам, можно формировать заказ на вынос со склада — от нескольких бутылок до паллеты. Все релизы, коллаборации и минифестивали будут проходить здесь — площадь двух залов около 270 кв. м.
Мы рады, что производство AF Brew обрело свой постоянный адрес на территории закрытого, но бесспорно старейшего в городе пивоваренного завода «Степан Разин», пережившего двести с лишним лет. За внешний вид тапрума отвечали дизайнеры Анастасия Артемьева, Сергей Семич и Василий Байло: промышленные светильники, декоративная облицовочная плитка, уличная вывеска в традициях ленинградского промышленного дизайна — неоновые буквы в ржавых металлических коробах и фасад барной стойки из стеклоблоков, которыми были заложены оконные проемы помещения.
В баре — 20 кранов, и в отличие от политики наших Redrum и Camorra, в тапруме мы разливаем как свое пиво, так и эксклюзивы от дружественных пивоварен 8 Barrels, Bottle Share, Zagovor, XP Brew и поставщиков импортного крафта.
Во второй очереди AF Brew Taproom, которая запустится весной, будет полноценная кухня и небольшое концертное пространство.»
