TraceEkee supports the efforts to mitigate community spread of Covid-19 in the Maldives through community-driven detailed contact tracing.

It uses Bluetooth signals to detect encounters with other TraceEkee users and stores that data in encrypted form on your phone. It logs the nearby phone’s identifier, model, signal strength and time. All TraceEkee users are represented by a random, changing, encrypted identifier. If you had a close contact with a COVID-19 case, the Health Protection Agency will seek and need your actioned consent to upload your encounter data for contact tracing analysis.

TraceEkee helps HPA find close contacts of the positive cases more quickly to provide guidance and necessary care at the earliest.

TraceEkee will also keep you up to date on new developments and updates on COVID-19 in the country and guide you on ways to protect yourself.

Возможно, недавно вы были совсем близко с человеком, заболевшим COVID-19, но пока не знаете об этом. Установите приложение и проверьте. Сообщите другим пользователям, если заболели сами. Всё анонимно! Никто не узнает, кто заболел и где находится.

Как приложение находит контакты?
Ваше устройство ищет и запоминает данные других устройств поблизости, используя технологию Exposure Notification, которую совместно разработали компании Apple и Google. Данная технология позволяет вашему смартфону запоминать другие устройства поблизости через Bluetooth, обмениваясь с ними случайными ключами. Список переданных ключей хранится две недели на смартфоне, а потом удаляется. Если кто-то из пользователей заболел и у него положительный тест на COVID-19, он сообщает об этом анонимно через приложение. Уведомления отправляются на устройства, ключи которых сохранились на смартфоне за последние две недели. Их владельцы получат push-уведомление с датой контакта. Никто не увидит никаких данных заболевшего.

Если у вас положительный тест на COVID-19, сообщите остальным пользователям, что заболели. Они не узнают, от кого пришло сообщение и где он находится. Приложение не передаёт данные о телефоне, его владельце и местоположении. Доступна только информация о контакте с COVID-19 в конкретную дату за последние 14 дней.

Чем больше пользователей, тем точнее можно оценить риск заражения вирусом, вовремя сделать тест и начать лечение.

Благодарим за обратную связь. О проблеме известно, она возникает из-за настроек платформы на стороне операционной системы. В ближайшее время проблема будет устранена. На работу самого приложения это не влияет. Все контакты в рамках вашего местонахождения отслеживаются корректно.

Приложение обрабатывает персональные данные: номер телефона и данные о диагнозе

1) в п.1.2 положения сказано, что оно не обрабатывает персональные данные.
Здесь скорее всего имеется ввиду, что приложение не делится вашими персональными данными с вашими контактами, однако:
Из политики мы узнаём, что существует реестр абонентских номеров физических лиц с подтвержденным диагнозом или с подозрением на диагноз COVID-19 (это персональные данные).
Приложение сопоставляет данные реестра, привязанные к номеру телефона пользователя, с его заявкой на рассылку уведомлений, чтобы удостовериться, что он болеет и авторизовать его на рассылку уведомлений его контактам. Это обработка персональных данных, в том числе чувствительных.
Очень интересно, получили ли лица, чьи персональные данные находятся в этом реестре, всю информацию об обработке и операторе, а также об этом приложении, запрашивающем данные.

2) персональные данные обрабатывает также сервер проверки: информационная система (сервер проверки) направляет в Приложение ключ долгосрочной верификации, а также push- уведомление, содержащее сведения о
👉типе диагностики и
👉статус наличия результата диагностики (тестирования),
👉сведения о факте нахождения абонентского номера Пользователя в реестре абонентских номеров физических лиц с подтвержденным диагнозом или с подозрением на диагноз COVID-19.

3) в Положении есть согласие на обработку данных «с указанными в п.3 настоящей политики задачами.» Видимо это ошибка и имеется ввиду соответствие задачам или целям.

4) что за разрешение имеется в п.5.3 ввиду?: «Пользователь дает свое согласие на обработку данных, в электронной форме, посредством разрешения на экранной форме, запускаемой в процессе запуска Приложения.»?

5) что за третьи лица имеются ввиду в п.5.4 и зачем им передавать? Имеются ввиду хакеры? Спецслужбы? Знакомые?: «Согласие распространяется на передачу данных третьим лицам.»

6) п.9.2. «Пользователь в праве запретить использование разрешений в настройках мобильного устройства.»
Каких разрешений? Которые согласия? «Вправе» пишется слитно.

7) п. 10.2. «Приложение обрабатывает все личные и конфиденциальные данные Пользователя безопасным образом, в том числе с применением современных методов шифрования, в том числе, протокола HTTPS.»
Личные и конфиденциальные данные—это какие? Персональные?

8)п.11. «Данные Пользователя обрабатываются до тех пор, пока Приложение установлено на мобильном устройстве Пользователя.»
Что и в каком защищенном порядке происходит после удаления приложения? Из реестра больных и с сервера проверки как удалить данные? К кому обратиться?

9) приложение просит выбрать регион (город, область), а Bluetooth запоминает устройства поблизости— это персональные данные третьих лиц, которые получает приложение.

10) приложение привязывает все данные к номеру телефона.

11) как обратиться к DPO приложения? Как оставить фидбэк? Как реализовать иные права?

Increased my views

I’ve been using this app and started comparing my likes/comments/views on the videos when I use the app and those when I don’t. Based on the 15 videos I’ve tested 7 with the app and 8 without, 6/7 of the videos where I used the app performed better than the counter parts. I got 2x, 4x, 2x, 10x, 6x, 3x views on the videos when I used it compared to when I posted the same day with trending sounds that I chose. So I’d definitely say that it’s worth getting the app

Not for me

I really wanted to like this app, but it just didn’t work for me. Going through the reviews, it felt like most of them were sponsored, but I decided to download it and try it for myself. It asks you to select categories you’re interested in but is extremely limited in those categories. There wasn’t a category for gaming or entertainment which is my niche. It then creates a playlist just for you which you can’t access without paying. I’m not opposed to paying for apps, the dev has to make money for their hard work. But I don’t like going into a free app finding out I can’t try it at all before paying. However, the price is affordable so I bought it. And I wish I hadn’t. While there are over 40 playlists, they all feature mostly the same songs. The “personalized” playlist isn’t unique compared to the other playlists. The top song on the “new trends” category are already saturated with over 1.2 Million videos. The lowest has 349k videos. I don’t feel the app has the predictability it needs to find sounds that are less saturated but on the rise, and therefore can’t justify the price. There wasn’t a trend on this app that I haven’t found by scrolling through the fyp. The dev seems like an active, hardworking guy so I’d be happy to revisit in time if the predictability factor improves. Until then, it’s just not for me. On the other hand, if you don’t care to scroll through the for you page and want an easy way to find trending sounds, this is 100% a helpful app.

Ok for the price but nothing exceptional

The price isn’t bad, but overall I don’t think the app provides anything exceptional. I don’t really know what the difference between “top sounds” and “trending now” is. I also wish the key used for song expected to rise/fall was a bit easier to understand. For example, is it expected to fall gradually or drastically? Starting tomorrow, or next week? My biggest critique, however, is not being able to see the length of the songs. I wish there was a feature that allowed you to find trending songs that are 30 seconds long or 1 min long or something like that. For me, the biggest problem I face when selecting music is finding songs that fit the length of my videos so I would really love to see a feature like that
