It looks like i was able to send you a trade offer just fine (Feel free to decline that when you see this). However, I did get a message saying the trade would be held for 15 days because you have not been using the mobile authenticator for 7 days.
That is 7 full 24 hour periods, down to the second.
Let’s start really simple. Do you know how to find your trade URL? If you post that I can try sending you an offer just to see if you get it, or if it gives me an error message.

When i go to support it says that im not able to use the market until the 16th?
That is about 15 days, which would suggest that it was disabled. Disabling the auth. triggers a 15 day restriction.
Mobile Authenticator Removed
Removing a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator reduces your account security. To help protect your items, you will be unable to trade or use the Community Market for 15 days. In the case your account was compromised, this cooldown gives you time to recover your account and reinstate your security without losing your items.
why is that i installed and have been using the app for over 2 weeks now
i open it almost everyday
Your account is only 16 days old. Something isn’t right about the story.
That’s is why it is odd.

yes but that date for the 16th is the same date from 2 weeks ago?
But back then two weeks ago, it could have been a totally different restriction that was the case. The recent purchase restriction, for example. That one is 30 days.
The good Teksura just confirmed, in post number 3, that this account you are posting with has not had the mobile auth. enabled for 7 full days.
However, I did get a message saying the trade would be held for 15 days because you have not been using the mobile authenticator for 7 days.

How do I remove the trade hold.. previously, I could trade without waiting anytime to receive my items. I registered my via phone the Steam Mobile Authenticator and I still get a hold.
This is stupid that I can not trade without getting my items instantly. It was like that in the past and it should have never changed. If you don’t want to be «scammed» or lose any of your items, look at the trade and don’t accept any trade, share your account, enter your password anywhere other than steam, or go to/download any suspcious things (and remove your steam account because you do not belong owning one, if you can not read).
You wait 7 days after enabling both Trade Confirmations and Mobile Guard Authenticator.
Then you will only get a Trade Hold with users who’ve not filled that quota; unless you do one-sided trades.

Why should I be penalized a week to receive my items, when 5 year olds or some lazy loser that can not read ruin the system? This reminds me of the same situation that ruined the classic game, Runescape, back in the day. Stupid little kids that are not even old enough in the community ruin the system because they do not read the first warning they get, so give them 5 more warnings because they are too illiterate.
If i want to trade my items in real-time, waiting 7 days does not allow me to complete the card set the day I want/need to.

Then use the mobile authenticator app. After the app runs for 7 days you have no waiting time while trading. If you dont use the app you need to wait 3 days for your items.
They have 77.000 compromised accounts A MONTH.
Also, Steam already said, it was either this new system or disbanding the complete user trading system and only allowing market trading in the future.

What money? You are given a terminable license to virtual items, that cannot be sold unless Valve explicitly allows it, e.g. the community market. And that’s just Steam credit. The simple solution is, don’t treat Steam as a job. Selling items is just so you can get cheaper games.
I never said Steam was a job. I spent my hard earned money in real life to buy Steam games, cards, items within games. I want my items when I make trades, not in a delayed time. I get enjoyment in using my hard earned cash to purchase these items to complete card sets and increase my gaming experience. Why should I be punished?
If you do not want to spend your money on steam, you should have never made the purchase in the first place. If you are dumb enough to try to trade real world cash for your steam items, you should lose your steam account for trying to break the rules.

Like I said, why should I be punished because people are too illiterate or stupid to secure their acccounts/systems. That is the 77 or 77K, whichever you meant to say, persons’ fault.
If the other person does not have the app, then I still have to wait? Is there a hold for declining this trade then? The only way I can get around this is to specifically say that I will not trade with people who do not use the app within my trade forum, but will still get trade offers from the same illiterate people that do not read and ruin the system.

So, it either hasn’t been a full 7 days or he canceled another trade after the 7 days but before you tried to trade again.

Within this guide, we are presenting you with the basics of trading.
Some of the following information might seem irelevant for the more experienced trader, but we all had to learn at some point.
Here we attempt to fill your brains with the know how of the trading world!
Note: This guide is mainly for people who are new to trading and need help getting started! Traders with a bit of experience can most likely skip most parts of this guide.
No, once a game has been activated it’s permanently associated with your account and cannot be traded.
You can post your offers in the game specific trading-subforum or join a trading group within the Steam Community. Within a trading group you can offer your stuff within the discussion area, the group chat or the comments section.
To open the trade window you have to first open a private chat with the person that you want to trade with.
Within this chat window there is an arrow on the top right (yellow box).
Click this arrow and a bunch of options will appear. Select ‘Invite to trade’.
After doing this, the trade window will pop up and you can simply drag the items you want to trade from your inventory on the left hand-side into the top grid on the right hand-side. Another method of adding items to a trade is by double-clicking on them from your inventory on the left hand-side. When both you, and your trading partner have added the items you want to trade, you need to click ‘Ready’ (yellow box).
Once both of you have clicked ‘Ready’ the ‘Make Trade’ button will turn green, click it and the trade will be completed.
To use the new ‘Trade offers’ you have to go to your ‘Activity Feed’. The ‘Activity Feed’ can be opened by clicking on ‘Your Name’ in the client and then choosing ‘Activity’.
In your activity feed you will find a button called ‘Trade offers’.
By pressing this button you will be forwarded to the ‘Trade Offer’ menu. Next you have to press ‘New Trade offer. ‘.
This will open your friends list on which you can choose the friend you want to trade with (a person has to be on your friends list to be able to make them a trade offer). After choosing a friend you will be able to drag your stuff from your inventory and their stuff from their inventory into the trade window.
To send the offer you need to press on ‘Click here to confirm trade contents’ and then on ‘Make Offer’.
If your friend accepts the offer, you will recieve a notification in your inbox which can be found on the top right hand-side.
Every user has their ‘Trade offer URL’, which can be found on your ‘Trade Offers’ site (http://steamcommunity.com/my/tradeoffers/). On that site, you have to press on ‘Who can send me Trade Offers?’.
After that, you will be forwarded to a list of information about your settings. On the bottom of that site, you can find your ‘Unique URL’. Anybody having that URL can send you ‘Trade Offers’, regardless of friendship.
If you want to stop people who know your URL from sending ‘Trade Offers’, you can simply create a new URL which will make the old one invalid. You can do so by clicking the following button:
Steam Trading Forums can be found within the discussion area of every game.
The advantage of leaving your offers within the Trading subforum is that you are able to send ‘Trade Offers’ directly and don’t have to add each other (Basically you are able to trade with anybody, not just with people on your friends list. However, to do this, the user’s inventory must be public, otherwise they will not be able to recieve trade offers).
To do this just open a thread and say what you would like to trade. It is important that your inventory privacy is set to ‘Public visible’, or else you won’t be able to recieve any trade offers. After your trade is done, you can lock your thread. After doing that, you are no longer able to take actions on that thread.
Note: Please make sure to read the rules of the trading subforums before opening a thread there.

This means you may have taken too long to accept the trade offer. Offers have a limit in our bots before they are automaticly canceled. There may also have been an error or you were kicked due to maintenance.
The bot didn’t send me a trade offer!
The bot says that I can’t afford it even though I have enough metal or the item I am offering is worth more!
Make sure that your metal and items are tradable and craftable. If you aren’t able to see the metal via the Steam Community backpack, then you will have to wait a few minutes or close TF2 so your it gets updated.
If you are experiencing this error while trying to pay with items, it most likely means that we are not accepting said item for whatever reason or that it is overstocked.
My trade keeps failing for no reason!
There are different reasons why you might be experiencing this:
The bot keeps saying that it’s an issue with steam and not scrap.tf!
Before trading again make sure that:
My trade offer URL keeps disappearing/getting removed!
This might happen when we are experiencing issues with the steam api, making all tradeoffer urls seem faulty to us. Otherwise it might be because you have done something which triggered SteamGuard’s protection. Things like changing your email, changing your password, logging in from a new device or browser, logging in from a browser after clearing your cache and cookies, changing your authenticator device, and other things of the sort trigger so.
You will have to wait up to two weeks in order to be able to trade again, you can find more information regarding this topic in the following Steam Support article https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1047-edfm-2932
It keeps saying that I might have a trade ban and to check my inventory!
As the message says, you might have a trade ban or your inventory might be set to private. Make sure that your inventory settings are set to public and that you haven’t done anything which could trigger SteamGuard’s protection. Things like changing your email, changing your password, logging in from a new device or browser, logging in from a browser after clearing your cache and cookies and things of the sort trigger such protection.
If it’s because SteamGuard, you won’t be able to trade for a week.
It keeps saying that it will result in an escrow when I have everything activated!
It keeps telling me that the bot ran into an error fetching my eligibility for trading!
That’s because of an issue on Steam’s end (most of the times), making our bots unable to check if the trade will end getting put in hold or something similar.
The only way to fix this issue is to keep trying until the trade goes through or wait some minutes and try again. Sometimes it might take you a lot of tries because of the Steam issues that were stated before.
