Motherboard: ASROCK Z270 Fatal1ty mITX
CPU: i7-7700
RAM: HyperX 2x4GB 2666MHz
Graphics Card: ASUs strix gtx 1080
Psu: Corsair sf450
OS: windows 10 Pro
SSD: Dell / Toshiba 512GB M.2 NVME PCIE 7VPP2
I had windows fully working but one morning it wouldn’t boot properly and windows automatic repair couldn’t fix it. So I decided to clean the ssd using diskpart and reinstall windows 10. But I now get an error

This is using windows media creation tool, I have also tried using rufus but both come up with the same error.
Nothing seems to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just went round and round with this. 2 different USB keys, 3 different DVDs burned from 2 different ISOs, even threw up my hands and purchased a copy from the store. Same damn error for all of them. Tried deleting the partitions, but didn’t help.
In the end, i finally just zeroed the first MB of the hard drive I was installing to so the installer would have to start from scratch.
After that, windows 10 installed first try. Its too bad the installed cant give us a proper error message.
To zero the beginning of the drive, i used Univeral Boot CD, dropped into Parted Magic, opened a terminal and ran

Question
I am trying to upgrade from Vista Home Premium with the Family pack.
The DVD I am using is definitely ok, I tried with another one with the same result.
The setup stops and also shows me a cmd window saying «a winpeshl.ini file being present, «but no commands were successfully launched. This is caused by incorrect formatting or an invalid executable name» consult the documentation bla bla.
It shows X:\$windows.
BT\Windows|system32> and there it stops.
No automatic rollback is happening.
I have run chkdsk before, removed all external devices, disabled Norton IS, all without success.
Luckily I have cloned the Hard drive and can clone back from another one if this happens (so far I tried 4 times!)
Since the installation files cannot be corrupted, and the formatting is definitely correct, I am wondering what the » invalid executable name» is about.

Question
When I try to deploy Windows Server 2012R2 64bit on a local machine from my WDS server. I get this error :
«Setup cannot continue due to a corrupted installation file. Contact the vendor of your Windows installation disc or your system administrator for assistance»
This message appear at the last step of the installation. (Finishing Install)
When I burn the image to a DVD I can install it problem free on my Machines. But when I capture said image and try to deploy it, this message appears.
The same message also appears when I try to deploy a Windows 8.1 image.
If I try to install this image with an unattended file. I get an error during «Install features» that there was a problem in «offline Servicing» even tough that field is Empty in my XML file.
The server i’m using has Windows 2012 standard 64bit. And the Image files was downloaded through MSDN.
