MSI afterburner problem

I just upgrade to a i7 920 / msi x58 pro-e yesterday.
after clean install with latest afterburner, it works perfectly fine for the first time, but after restart it starts malfunction with a message «Some of MSI Afterburner components are expired, missing or corrupted!»
I did try some other that suggest to install on other PC and copy the folders over, but it did not work.
I also have tried 1.3 version but it does not support 5970 voltage regulation.
anyone know what problem that is here?
PS: I find this board’s IOH have some insane temperature, I even replace the heat sink on it still hover around 100c on idle until I put a 60MM fan directly blowing on it, which drops to 84 somehow.
