Ответ: Нет, т.к. минимально требуется 2 Gb оперативной памяти. Возможно, проблема будет решена будущим(-ми) патчем(-чами), либо же подменой файлов игры, но, так или иначе, проблем непосредственно при игре вам не избежать (тормоза, подвисания и пр.).
Вопрос: Как включить в игре свою музыку?
Ответ: Пока этого не предусмотрено. Пока что только с помощью прочих проигрывателей таких как Винамп.
Вопрос: В оффлайне не меняется погода, почему?
Ответ: Данная функция доступна лишь в онлайне.
Вопрос: купил лицензию, на сайте зарегистрировался, вхожу в игру, но игра постоянно в оффлайн режиме (значок на мини-карте все время красный). Как исправить?
Ответ: скорее всего вы перед покупкой лицензии решили попробовать пиратку. Если так, то проследуйте по пути: Мои Документы\Eden Games\Test Drive Unlimited 2\savegame и удалите из этого каталога папку с именем профиля и файл ProfileList.dat. Если все сделано правильно при запуске игра спросит ваш логин/пароль. ВНИМАНИЕ! Карьеру придется начать заново!

Вопрос: Не работает оверлей в стиме, хотя по началу все привязывается.
Ответ: Запускаете лаунчер tdu2, заранее добавив в библиотеку steam TestDrive2.exe, после загрузки лаунчера и появлении кнопки play, запускаете игру из библиотеки. Готово.

bought this off our favourite key website, when i try to start it it opens UpLauncher, at which point I get this message:
An error occurred while downloading files.
Please check your Internet connection and restart the update.
If the problem persists, contact Atari technical support.
Please help!! How do I fix this?
PS. I have allowed the program in my firewall
Servers are closed, even the ones you download updates from.

I also downloaded the alternative launcher and made it the default so I don’t have to wait for it to realise it can’t connect.

It’s being launched by Steam, probably gonna ask for a refund if this doesn’t work.
Found the problem and fixed it myself.
As most experienced Steam users might know, it’s always the lowest common denominator.
Yeap! you guessed it right, the problem is Steam!, the game works just fine after yet another nightmarish search and destroy all Steam Everything, that’s. «fun» I’m quite sure this was meant to be an Immersive Feature of Steam to make games more «interesting».
exit game restart pc.
after restart pc..
1. Go to the game directory.(in Programfiles86)
2. Delete the file name «UpLauncher.localdb» (not the same as «UpLauncher.exe»)
3. Rightclick TestDrive2.exe [not uplauncher.exe] and Run as Administrator. and click «OK» when the error comes up.
4. Now run UpLauncher.exe. [not TestDrive2.exe]
Wait for Play button light up, Click it. Play game.
if fail read this again more carefully, restart pc do all again..
Post results.

I also have a similar issue. I don’t know what type of error it is, but the game won’t launch after pressing PLAY. The launcher stays open. Steam tells me that I’m running the game even though I am not. I have TDU2 DLC2 v034 build16, 2012091.0831 if that helps. Please let me know if there’s a way to fix it. I tried the steps above, without success.
The reason that Steam says that it’s running is because the UpLauncher is running. Steam doesn’t know the difference between the launcher and the game itself.
There’s a few things that may help.
— Wait up to a minute. It could be simply taking a while.
— Try launching the TestDrive2.exe file from File Explorer or Search. You should receive an error message saying that it needs to be launched from the UpLauncher. Run the game through Steam again.
— Check your AV (antivirus). It may not be allowing TDU2 to run.
— Don’t reinstall Windows. That’ll do more harm than good.
— Run both UpLauncher.exe and TestDrive2.exe in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. You can do this by:
1) Going to the files from File Explorer.
2) Right click on one of them.
3) Select “Properties.”
4) Go to the Compatibility tab.
5) Select “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
6) Choose Windows 7.
7) Select “OK” to confirm.
8) For the other one, repeat steps 1 to 7.
Why Windows 7? Because the game was released in 2011, Windows 7 was the latest version of Windows, so that might do the trick.
